Notice of Privacy Practices

This notice describes how your information may be used and disclosed and how you can get access to this information. Please review it carefully.

1. Personal information we collect

We collect information that alone or in combination with other information in our possession could be used to identify you (“Personal Information”) as follows:

• Account Information. When you create an account with us, we will collect information associated with your account, including your name, contact information, account credentials, payment card information, and transaction history (collectively, “Account Information”).
• User Content. When you use our Services, we may collect Personal Information that is included in the input, file uploads, or feedback that you provide to our Services (“Content”).
• Communication Information. If you communicate with us, we may collect your name, contact information, and the contents of any messages you send (“Communication Information”).
• Social Media Information. We have pages on social media sites like Instagram, Facebook, Medium, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn. When you interact with our social media pages, we will collect Personal Information that you elect to provide to us, such as your contact details (collectively, “Social Information”). In addition, the companies that host our social media pages may provide us with aggregate information and analytics about our social media activity.

2. How we use personal information

We may use Personal Information for the following purposes:

• To communicate with you;
• To develop new programs and services;
• To market material related to our business and requests for more information.

All information collected is for internal use only and is not sold or shared with third parties. You may unsubscribe from email lists at any time.

3. Content loaded from other companies

No page on this site loads content from another company. The map of our office used to be supplied by Google, and it now comes from us: a picture we made from OpenStreetMap and serve from this site, so viewing it requests nothing from anyone and shares nothing about your visit.

We took that trouble deliberately. On a website about seeking therapy, the fact that you read a page is itself sensitive, and it should not be handed to another company because you wanted to check where we are. Our address, telephone number and email are written on the page in plain text as well.

If you tap the map for directions it opens Google Maps, and from that point Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. That is your choice to make, and what Google does with it is governed by its own privacy policy, not ours. The same is true of any link that takes you off this site.

We do count how many people visit each page, using Vercel Web Analytics. It records the page, roughly where in the world the request came from, and which site linked you here. It sets no cookies, it does not follow you to other websites, and it does not build a profile of you or let us pick you out as an individual. Pages behind the staff login are excluded entirely.

Beyond that we use no advertising trackers, no social media pixels and no embedded video. We do not sell or share what the counter records. If any of this ever changes, this section changes with it.

4. Keeping in touch by email

If you sign up for our email list, the name and address you give us are passed straight to Mailchimp, the service that sends our emails, and this website keeps no copy of them. That is deliberate: one record of who asked to hear from us, held by the same service that honours an unsubscribe, rather than two that can disagree.

It is used only to send what you asked for. It is never sold and never shared beyond Mailchimp, who process it on our behalf and under their own privacy policy. Every message includes a link to unsubscribe, which takes effect immediately and without asking us. You can also write to us using the details below and we will remove you ourselves.
